Snoozing on your lap

You’re the sunrise of my hopeless life and someone who lauds my strife.

Drops of acid rain burn my skin but you heal them with a kiss so light.

When I’m alone in an enclosed space you turn out to be my saving grace.

My nerves tighten while the haters gaze then throw me into a puzzling maze.

Deep thoughts about you keep me alive when darkness around kills my drive.

I forgive those who had laid this trap and wanna keep snoozing on your lap.
